  • Methylation is a process happening in your body at a cellular level thousands of times.

In simplistic terms, it turns chemical reactions ON or OFF by activating processes or deactivating them. The MethylGen not only tests the famous MTHFR, COMT & PEMT genes, it looks at various genes that act as precursors to those genes.

  • This test is useful if you want to find out any of the following:

Why you might be suffering with low energy and/or low iron

Why you might struggle to build muscle

Why you might struggle to conceive or have suffered regular miscarriages

Is genetics responsible for your low mood, depression or anxiety?

Why you might have a diagnosis for ADHD, autism or OCD?

Why you might suffer with addictive behaviour and what you can do about it.

The Metals & Minerals Report- £399

  • Minerals are vital to your health — supporting everything from energy production and immunity to hormone balance, brain function, and bone strength. But did you know your ability to absorb, use, and eliminate these nutrients (and toxic metals) is influenced by your genes?

This test explores your personal genetic blueprint to see how efficiently your body handles essential minerals like magnesium, zinc, iron, and selenium, while also highlighting any challenges with clearing toxic heavy metals such as mercury, lead, or arsenic.

By understanding how your body naturally processes these elements, you can make smarter decisions around your diet, supplements, and lifestyle to reduce risk, optimise function, and support longevity.

  • We’re all exposed to heavy metals through air, water, food, and even household products. While the body is designed to detoxify them, some people have genetic variants that slow this process down, leading to toxic build-up, inflammation, and long-term health concerns.

At the same time, essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc are needed for over 300 enzyme reactions — but not everyone absorbs or utilises them effectively.

This test helps answer important questions like:

    • Why might you be low in magnesium, even with a good diet?

    • Do you need more support clearing mercury or arsenic?

    • Could your fatigue, anxiety, or hormone symptoms be mineral-related?

    • Are you absorbing enough zinc to support immunity and skin health?

    • How does your methylation affect your ability to detox metals?

If you’re already following a personalised health protocol, using methylation or detox strategies (like those recommended by Gary Brecka), this test takes it to the next level — helping you get even more specific with your support.

The Thyroid Report - £399

  • The thyroid is a small but powerful gland in your neck that plays a major role in regulating your metabolism, energy levels, and overall vitality. It produces hormones that influence how every cell in your body functions — especially when it comes to energy production and balance.

    Your thyroid produces:

    • T4 (Thyroxine) – This is the main hormone produced by the thyroid, but it needs to be converted into T3, the active form, in order to support your metabolism and energy.

    • T3 (Triiodothyronine) – This is the active thyroid hormone that drives metabolism and supports cellular energy.

    • RT3 (Reverse T3) – This acts as a brake, blocking the effects of T3 when your body is under stress.

    • Calcitonin – Helps regulate calcium levels in your blood.

Your thyroid is closely connected to the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Thyroid (HPT) axis, and imbalances can lead to underactive (hypothyroid), overactive (hyperthyroid), or autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s or Graves’ disease. All of these affect how your body transports, activates, and responds to thyroid hormones.

  • This genetic thyroid test goes beyond standard thyroid blood panels by identifying genetic variations (SNPs) that can impact how well your thyroid hormones are produced, activated, and used by the body. It gives you insight into how your genes, nutrients, and lifestyle interact — something often missed in conventional testing.

If you’re already familiar with Gary Brecka’s approach, this is the kind of deep-dive analysis that helps connect the dots between methylation, detox, inflammation, and thyroid health.

A well-functioning thyroid is essential for:

    • Heart health – It regulates your heart rate and blood flow.

    • Brain and nervous system – Impacts focus, mood, and cognition.

    • Digestion – Influences how food is moved and absorbed.

    • Hormonal health and fertility – Key for menstruation and reproductive function.

Genetic and environmental factors, including nutrient status (iodine, selenium, tyrosine), exposure to toxins (like fluoride or mould), stress, and infections, can all impact thyroid function. This test helps uncover where your vulnerabilities lie — and how to support them.

The Genetic Thyroid Test examines key genes involved in the entire thyroid hormone lifecycle — from production in the thyroid gland to activation in peripheral tissues and cellular uptake.

    It looks at:

    • Thyroid hormone synthesis, transport, and metabolism

    • Conversion of T4 to T3

    • Nutrient cofactor pathways (e.g. vitamins D & A)

    • How your body handles stress, toxins, and inflammation

    • Genetic predispositions to autoimmunity

BOOK THE THYROID REPORT
Personalised Thyroid Pathways

Detoxification - £399

  • Every day, your body is exposed to a wide range of toxins — from pollution, pesticides, and food additives to medications, alcohol, and even your own hormones. Your detoxification system works hard to neutralise and eliminate these substances, so they don’t build up and disrupt your health.

Most of this work is carried out by the liver, but the gut, kidneys, and lungs also play a role. Detoxification converts harmful, fat-soluble toxins into water-soluble compounds that can be safely excreted through bile or urine.

There are three key phases involved:

    • Phase I – Activation: Prepares toxins for breakdown through enzyme reactions.

    • Phase II – Conjugation: Neutralises and packages toxins for elimination.

    • Phase III – Elimination: Moves these substances out of the body via antiporter transport systems.

If these pathways aren’t functioning optimally — due to genetic variants, nutrient insufficiencies, or a high toxic load — symptoms can start to appear across the body, affecting hormone balance, digestion, immune function, and more.

  • Your detoxification capacity is personal. It’s influenced by your genes, your environment, your nutrient intake, and your lifestyle — including how you respond to stress, caffeine, alcohol, and medications.

This test identifies genetic variations (SNPs) that may slow down or compromise your detox pathways. It gives you powerful insight into:

    • Why your body may struggle with certain toxins or chemicals

    • Where support is needed with key nutrients and co-factors

    • How to better manage your environment and lifestyle to reduce toxin burden

This is especially relevant if you're following Gary Brecka-style protocols, using methylation support, or looking to optimise your health at the cellular level.

  • INCLUDES:

    DNA test kit

    Report: DETOXIFICATION

    Genes tested:

The Genetic Detoxification Test explores how well your detox pathways are working by looking at your unique DNA. It assesses all three phases of liver detoxification — giving you a personalised roadmap for supporting detox capacity and reducing toxic load.

    Here’s what’s covered:

    Phase I – Activation (Cytochrome P450s & ROS Defence):
    CYP1A1, CYP1A2, CYP1B1, CYP2A6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, CYP3A4
    ROS defence: SOD2, GPX1, NQO1

    Phase II – Conjugation Pathways:

    • Glucuronidation: UGT1A1, UGT1A6

    • Methylation: COMT, TPMT

    • Sulphonation: SULT1A1, SULT1E1, SULT2A1

    • Acetylation: NAT1, NAT2

    • Glutathione Conjugation: GSTM1, GSTP1, GSTT1

    Phase III – Elimination (Transport):
ABCB1 – regulates movement of drugs and toxins in and out of cells

    Special Focus Genes:

    • Alcohol metabolism: ADH1B, ADH1C, ALDH2

    • Pesticide detoxification: PON1

The test also includes a breakdown of 5 key detox summary pathways:

    • Alcohol

Histamine Intolerance - £399

  • Histamine is a natural chemical messenger produced by the body that plays a role in everything from digestion and immune response to sleep, brain function, and inflammation. It acts as both a neurotransmitter and an immune signal, released by mast cells and basophils in response to allergens or stressors.

While most people associate histamine with hay fever or food allergies, it actually has a much broader role in regulating your body’s internal balance — including mood, memory, gut motility, and blood vessel dilation.

When your body can’t break histamine down efficiently, levels build up and symptoms resembling allergies or chronic inflammation can develop — this is known as histamine intolerance.

  • Histamine is meant to be broken down after it has done its job — mainly by two key enzymes:

    • DAO (Diamine Oxidase) – active in the gut

    • HNMT (Histamine-N-Methyltransferase) – active in the brain and lungs

When these pathways are compromised — due to genetic factors, gut issues, or lifestyle stressors — histamine can accumulate in the body and trigger a wide range of symptoms, from migraines and skin rashes to digestive problems and anxiety.

This test explores your genetic predisposition to histamine intolerance and helps identify where your system may need extra support. If you're dealing with mystery symptoms, this test helps uncover what’s happening at a cellular level — and how to respond effectively.

  • INCLUDES:

    DNA test kit

    Report: HISTAMINE INTOLERANCE

    Genes tested:

Nervous System and Immune: HNMT, MAOB and NAT2
    Methylation: MTHFR
Gastro Intestinal: ALDH2, DAO and GPX1

The Genetic Histamine Intolerance Test assesses the key pathways responsible for breaking down and clearing histamine from your body. It also looks at methylation and nutrient pathways that support this cycle, especially vitamin B6, which is essential for optimal enzyme function.

You’ll gain insight into how your genes influence:

    • Histamine breakdown in the gut and nervous system

    • Enzyme activity and potential blockages in the DAO/HNMT pathways

    • Methylation efficiency and stress resilience

    • Nutrient needs that support these detox and immune pathways

    • Sensitivity to DAO inhibitors (e.g., alcohol, fermented foods, certain medications)

What does the DNA health package include?

My DNA Health Packages include testing, consultation and report analysis to include personalised recommendations on diet, lifestyle and supplementation.

Will my nutrition plan be personalised?

Absolutely! Based on the results of your genetic analysis, I will suggest a personalised nutrition & supplement plan that take into account your unique genetic makeup. These plans are crafted to optimise your diet, ensuring you receive the nutrients your body needs for optimal health and performance.

Can you make lifestyle recommendations?

Beyond nutrition, I will provide tailored lifestyle recommendations. This includes guidance on exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that can positively impact your genetic expression and overall well-being.

How do I collect the DNA sample?

The DNA test is the easiest test to do! Once you order the package, the DNA test kit is sent directly to you. You just need to swab the inside of your cheek which will contain all the DNA data that the lab needs! This takes less than a minute and I recommend you do it first thing in the morning before food. The swab is placed in a test tube with a stabilising capsule for you to send back in the return packaging that is provided along with a consent form. It is a one off test as your DNA does not change BUT it can be influenced by dietary and lifestyle measures.

Does anything affect the test results?

The DNA test is NOT affected by any current dietary approaches, pregnancy, exercise, medications, contraceptives, HRT, herbs or supplements.

When will my results be ready?

Results & consultation can be booked 4 weeks from point of purchase.

Is my data confidential & secure?

I take confidentiality and security very seriously and that is why I have chosen to work with Lifecode Gx. All data is confidential and kept securely. DNA is extracted and process in the UK and kept anonymous by the allocation of a barcode. NO data is shared or sold with third parties (this is not the case with most other companies) and data will be destroyed 6 months after analysis.

Will the recommendations be science based?

All my analysis and recommendations are backed by the latest research in nutrigenomics. I will combine my scientific knowledge with practical guidance, ensuring your receive evidence based recommendations tailored to your genetic profile.
